Sowers Action - Walk to Guangzhou 2004
Mr Daniel Cheng, with his wife - Jeannie and daughter
- Serena have joined the Charity Walk from Hong Kong to
Guangzhou for Sowers Action (Charity) in Jan.. They have
finished the walk, but due to the SARS and Bird Flu risks,
the organizer had no choice but to change the routing
in the last minute for the Hong Kong walkers to just walk
in Hong Kong while the China walkers continue to Guangzhou.
Even though the route was shorter, but Cheng's family
was walking up and down the hills and country side path
and saw parts of Shatin and Fanling that they don't get
to see in the highway and train ride. Although this is
the fourth time that Mr Cheng walked for Sowers Action,
he was still deeply moved by all the volunteers who organized
this event and put in so much effort. His daughter, Serena
especially learnt a lot and wants to help and walk next
year for the whole 5 days.
Mr Cheng would like to thank you for all generous donation
for over HK$250,000 to this event. All the donation will
go to the kids for better education in Mainland China.
For your information, The support to Cheng's family has
given them so much encouragement and strength to continue
our devotion to the poor children in China.
Thank you once again for the kind support to Cheng's family
and this meaningful event. And, you are welcome to visit
a photo site (http://community.webshots.com/album/114432427sryFDG)
of their pictures also. |
