Considering the 7.9 quake at Sichuan, the fund raised this year will be focused to rebuild the schools and subsidize student at the related area.

For the concern on the schools that are rebuilt by Sowers Action (for the very same concern- safety of the students from dangerous school structures) at the affected area, fortunately SA schools in Sichuan seem to have survived this quake, perhaps due to better material, quality control and design, supervision by thousands of volunteers over the years. This is a small bit of good news from our hearts and effort which may have saved some of the lives of the kids in this quake.
