Group Received the Federation
of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI)
1-1-1 Programme Green Medalist
Shortly
after serving as the Chairman
of Group 26 (Environmental Industry)
of FHKI and the Vice-Chairman
of Sustainable Industry Council
of FHKI, Mr. Daniel M. Cheng,
Managing Director of Dunwell
Group, initiated the One Factory
– One Year – One Environmental
Project Programme to reduce
and roll back pollution in Hong
Kong and the Pearl River Delta
region in March 2005. With the
support from industries and
more than one year of promotion,
more than one hundred firms
were recruited from both the
manufacturing and trade/services
sector, committing closed to
250 environmental projects.
On
7 December, 2006, a Presentation
Ceremony was held in recognition
for the successes of the participants.
Mr. Cheng was invited by FHKI
to deliver a speech on "Updates
and the way forward for the
One-One-One Programme"
and present souvenirs to the
technical advisors.
As
one of the pioneers in Hong
Kong's environmental industry,
Dunwell Group received the Green
Medalist of the 2006 One-One-One
Programme. |
